Hi! We are tania and michelle,
this is our story...
We’ve known each other for over 25 years, and for much of that time, we built careers in Austin’s vibrant events and hospitality scene. From venue-managing at iconic spaces like La Zona Rosa, The Backyard, and ACL Live, to curating cocktails at Frank (RIP) and producing what feels like five bajillion SXSW events, we lived and breathed the heartbeat of this city. We managed festivals, created menus, ran non-profit galas, and helped bring countless shows and celebrations to life across legendary venues like House of Blues and the amphitheater at COTA.

After years of working for others, we decided to take the leap and start something of our own. That led us to our first venture: project-managing the rehabilitation of a beautiful historic building just outside Austin. We poured 18 months of blood, sweat, and tears into transforming it into a new mercantile space—and just as we were getting ready to launch, the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The world shut down. Our business shuttered. All the events we were booked to work disappeared overnight. With our kids at home on Zoom school and our entire industry on pause, we had no idea how we were going to make ends meet. But we knew we had to figure something out…

We sourced all natural, organic flavors for our fledgling enterprise and held exhaustive taste tests until the combination was perfect.
We tried every possible version of flavoring we could one that met our high standards and vision for St. Cecilia Soda Company.
In the initial batch, we landed on 3 flavor combinations we loved, but until we had the funding we needed to produce a full line, we had to decide on only one to start with: and that’s how Daytripper was born.

In 2024, we launched two new flavors: Sunsipper and Revelation, and announced our partnership with Central Market, with distribution across Central and Southern Texas.
The entire business has been a labor of love, supported by the village of our kids, friends, and families.
So here we are!
St Cecilia isn’t just sparkling water, it’s rooted in music, art, community, and a deep gratitude for all of life’s beautiful twists and turns.
Each can has its own identity, hand-drawn by us and inspired by real-life scenarios that have stopped us in our tracks thinking..
"What a Lucky, Lucky life we live..."
Thank you for being here, we hope feel all the love and joy we've worked hard to create.
With love,
Tania and Michelle
